Celebrating our April Anniversaries

This month, we at Angelle Materials are celebrating five of our employees who have April anniversaries. Our people are essential to our team and we want to thank each of them for the time and dedication they give to our company!

  •  Jeannie Angelle is celebrating her second anniversary at Angelle Materials. A graduate of Cecilia High, Jeannie is an administrative assistant at Angelle and loves the family-oriented atmosphere. Jeannie enjoys spending time with her large family including her two children, four grandsons and three step-grandchildren. She and her husband, Barry are regularly on the road playing music and Barry is the manager of the Louisiana Red Band. Jeannie loves to bowl and when she has a chance to get away, she likes the Gulf Shore beaches in Alabama for quiet and peaceful relaxation with the occasional visit to the local casino.

  • Ed Barras is celebrating one year at Angelle Materials. He is a sales manager in the West Region and loves the atmosphere and family-oriented spirit of the Angelle team. Ed graduated from Beaux Bridge High School and loves to hunt and fish as well as spend time with his family. One of his favorite places to visit are the Florida Beaches. His favorite quote, “Let’s get it done” came in handy as he spent time on a big project last year of moving the Zachary Plant to Beaux Bridge which is something he really enjoyed working on.

  • Koris Johnson is celebrating his 16th year at Angelle Materials. He is currently a driver and one of his favorite projects in his time at Angelle was pouring Hwy 16 in Denham. Koris graduated from Broadmoor High School and has a twin brother who also works at Angelle and is the reason he is working here today. Koris grew up in a big family and is the baby boy of five kids. He has one daughter who means the world to him and his absolute favorite place to hang out is at home.

  • Berto Jordan has been with Angelle Materials for 17 years! He started out in Ready Mix and Angelle helped him train to get his Class A license and now he is an Aggregate Hauler. His favorite thing about working at Angelle are the people. Bert graduated from Broadmoor High School and is currently engaged. He has two kids, an 8 and 9-yeard old and one of his favorite places to hang out is at home.

  • Samuel Muvdi is celebrating his fourth anniversary with Angelle Materials. Sam is currently a maintenance manager at Angelle and appreciates how the company has given him the opportunity to grow as an employee and as a person. He started as a driver and has been had the opportunity to work in different areas of the company. He appreciates that they gave him the tools to succeed in each area. He and his family are from Puerto Rico and have lived in Louisiana from the past nine year. Sam graduated from Laura Mercado High School in Rosario San German, Puerto Rico. Sam’s favorite place to go on vacation is Orlando where he loves the ocean and beaches. Sam’s lives by this quote as often as he can, “Don’t leave until tomorrow what you can do today.”
