Celebrating our July Anniversaries

This month, we at Angelle Materials are celebrating four of our employees who have July anniversaries. Our people are essential to our team, and we want to thank each of them for investing their time and dedication to our company.

  • Donald is celebrating 36 years at Angelle Materials. Donald is a driver for Angelle and loves what he does. He enjoys the industry and says the people and professional work environment is what has kept him here for so long. His uncle, who began his career in the concrete business in 1960, inspired him to pursue this line of work. Donald graduated from Walker High School. When he is not delivering concrete to job sites, he enjoys going on cruises and exploring places with his family. A trip to Florida is on his bucket list.

  • Iesha is celebrating her second year with Angelle Materials. She is a ready-mix driver for Angelle where she delivers concrete and unloads materials to many different job sites. She says her mom has been a truck driver for 15 years, and she wanted to follow in her mom’s footsteps. Iesha graduated from Scotlandville High School. She comes from a family of hard workers who are goal oriented and ambitious – and these qualities are what she brings to her job, day in and day out. One of the most important lessons she has learned while working at Angelle Materials is to never give up on yourself because you are always capable of accomplishing great things.

  • Sergio is celebrating his first anniversary with Angelle Materials. He is a shop mechanic and loves the atmosphere and the family-oriented spirit of the Angelle team where everyone cares about each other, treats each other like family, and is ready to help each other out. Besides his expertise and skills as a mechanic at Angelle, Sergio says his hidden talent is reading music. During his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family. His best place to go on vacation is Mexico, where he and his family are from.

  • Gary is celebrating his first year with Angelle Materials. He is a ready-mix driver and one of his favorite projects he worked on was demonstrating the company truck at Touch-A-Truck, an event where kids and families are able to explore, climb and take pictures with our concrete mixer truck. He enjoys the work he does at Angelle. One of the many things he likes about Angelle is their commitment to safety. The company is always focused on keeping their workers safe. In his spare time, Gary likes to go to church, and he loves to play drums. He hopes to one day buy a house in the near future.
