Celebrating our August Anniversaries
This month, we at Angelle Materials are celebrating four of our employees who have August anniversaries. Our people are essential to our team, and we want to thank each of them for investing their time and dedication to our company.
Anthony is celebrating 21 years at Angelle Materials. Anthony is a ready-mix driver and loves what he does. Originally a school bus driver, he says front-end loaders drew him to Angelle. He enjoys operating vehicles that lift and transport materials to and from job sites. He says the best career lesson he has learned over the last three decades is to always look at your load before you leave the plant. Anthony has been married for 37 years. He has six children and 13 grandchildren. He says watching his grandchildren graduate is something he looks forward to. During his free time, he plays basketball and spends time with his family. His favorite quote that inspires him every day is, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”
Grant is celebrating 8 years with Angelle Materials. He is a mechanic for Angelle. He loves the people he works with, especially his supervisors. He is ready to take on any challenge and complete whatever tasks are given to him. He says the best advice he has for someone starting off their career is to take it day by day and never give up. It’s the same motto he has followed throughout his career. Grant graduated from Redemptorist High School. If he wasn’t in the concrete industry, he said he would be a history teacher. His favorite place to vacation or hang out is “wherever the road takes him.”
Quintaesia is celebrating her second anniversary with Angelle Materials. She is an SLM driver for Angelle. She says Angelle is a great company to work for because everyone treats each other like family. The company has helped her support her family and has provided opportunities to grow her skills. “Tae” graduated from Livonia High School. When she’s not driving a truck, she loves relaxing in Destin, Florida. Two things on her bucket list include a trip to Jamaica and skydiving. She lives by these quotes as often as she can, “Actions speak louder than words” and “Anything is possible.”
Alfred is celebrating his one-year anniversary with Angelle Materials. He is a ready-mix driver. In the short time that he has been here, he describes Angelle as an awesome place to work. Angelle is a professional company that values family and teamwork. Everyone here is very compassionate. When Alfred’s son passed away, Angelle supported his family at his son’s funeral. He said, “they were really there for me when I needed them.” Alfred graduated from Crowley High School. One of his hidden talents is cutting hair. One of his favorite places to go on vacation is Destin, Florida.
