Celebrating our September Anniversaries

This month, we at Angelle Materials, one of the premier concrete suppliers in Baton Rouge, are celebrating six employees who have September anniversaries. These individuals are essential to our team, and we want to thank them for investing their time and dedication to our company.

  • Tsha is celebrating 8 years at Angelle Materials. She is currently in the Safety Department in a driver trainer role. She also is cross trained as a ready-mix driver. She enjoys working at Angelle because of the multiple growth opportunities available to her. The best career lesson she has learned over the years is how to work with people on different levels and to never let a person change your character because of their actions. Tsha graduated from Iberville High School. Her favorite quote is to “walk by faith, not by sight.” When she is not busy working at Angelle, Tsha enjoys spending time with her 9-year-old daughter, Jaiyah, and her family and friends. She loves traveling. Her favorite vacation spot is Miami, Florida.

  • Travis is celebrating 3 years with Angelle Materials. He is a plant manager stationed at the plant in Port Allen. He loves the people he works with, the work environment, and he enjoys what he does. He is always ready to take on new challenges. He always challenges himself to do better than his best. Travis considers Angelle more than just a ready-mix concrete company. Angelle is a place that helped him grow in his career and provided stability so he can support his family. In his spare time, Travis enjoys going to church, fishing, traveling and watching sports. Travis is a graduate of NISH High School.

  • Brad is celebrating his second anniversary with Angelle Materials. He is a salesperson for Angelle here in Baton Rouge. He says Angelle is a great place to work because of the company’s family atmosphere. His favorite moment at Angelle is seeing the smile on homeowners’ faces as the team pours the foundation for their dream home. Brad graduated from Central Private School in 2013. He is happily married to his high-school sweetheart, and they have a 7-month-old son named Tripp. Brad’s favorite place to go on vacation is Gatlinburg, Tennessee. When he’s not working, Brad likes to hunt and fish. He also enjoys coaching his 12-year-old travel baseball team on the weekends.

  • Eddie is celebrating his one-year anniversary with Angelle Materials. He is a ready-mix driver. In the short time he has been here, he says he loves his fellow employees from the top to the bottom. The three words he uses to describe Angelle are honest, trustworthy and family. If he didn’t pursue this career, he would be in the landscape/power washing business. His best advice for people starting their career is to “put God first in your life. Put him in charge of everything and everything will fall into place.” Eddie is glad his career path led him to Angelle. He has been married to his wife of 41 years. They have two adult children and enjoy playing with their grandkids.

  • Ryan is celebrating his one-year anniversary with Angelle Materials. He works in sales, schedules concrete pours and coordinates daily operations. Besides the caring and compassionate culture of the management team, one of the many things Ryan admires about Angelle is how the company listens to their employees’ ideas, so everyone feels like part of an inclusive team. Ryan has learned many lessons in his career. Among them, to never settle, and to keep growing and striving to be happy, comfortable and financially stable in your career. Ryan is married with four sons. He loves LSU football and vacationing with his family at the beach. He has several talents including electrical work, carpentry and working on motor vehicles.

  • Darryl is celebrating his one-year-anniversary for Angelle Materials. When he joined Angelle, he had no ready-mix experience. But Angelle hired Darryl and gave him a chance to prove his skills and provide for his family. Over the course of a year, he has developed essential on-the-job skills, and has been a wonderful member of the Angelle team/family. Daryll graduated from Broadmoor High School. He lives by this quote, which is one of his favorite quotes, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”
