Allan Sanchez, LSU and Catholic High School graduate, celebrates 42 years at Angelle Materials

Congratulations to Allan Sanchez who has been with Angelle Materials for 42 years on June 1, 1981.  Allan started in the concrete industry in Baton Rouge in 1980 when he started as a salesman and then worked his way up to the assistant sales manager and then became the sales manager for Delta Concrete in 1990.  Delta Concrete was purchased by Angelle Materials in 2008 and Allan kept his role as the sales manager for many years until he eventually became one of the current owners of the company in 2013.

Allan graduated from Catholic High in Baton Rouge in 1975 and then went on to attend LSU. He also has two sons who followed that same path graduating from Catholic High School and then also attending LSU and who now work in the Baton Rouge area

Allan is currently the person with the longest sales history in concrete in the Baton Rouge area. He prides himself on being in the community doing the work he loves for so long and he is excited to be running a company that has those same values. Angelle Materials is a local company that has been ingrained in the community for over 40 years and treats their employees like family.

Allan’s father has been an inspiration to him, and he lives by one of his quotes, “Be all you can be for the company that you work for, and you will always be needed.”  He finds this mantra to be so true and this way of life has inspired him to be a mentor to the young people at Angelle which has become one of his favorite things to do.

In his spare time, Allan enjoys spending time with his four grandchildren. He also loves history, fishing, hunting, politics, doing woodwork out of his shop at home and LSU football. Allan has remained active with Catholic High School and still attends events at the school to show his support.
